Yanmar Diesel water problems

The impeller on my Yanmar 3GM30 engine disintegrated. I replaced the impeller, now the engine idles fine but at 2000 RPM the water stops coming out the discharge. I have replaced all hoses and installed a new pump. Can the
seawater cooling system become clogged by the impeller parts?

Simple answer is yes.Try backflushing the system
