In addition th my previous post. First thanks for all the good advice received /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Found that there is a huge amount of fuel in the crank case. I extracted more than five liters of oil-diesel mixture. Ouch. That explains most of the symptoms. Sluggish pickup
(fuel goes to the crankcase instead of the injectors). Sudden burst of black and bkue smoke (fuel-diesel mixture makes it into the cylinders) How????? Hope via the breather pipe and not past the pistons [Any comments here].
Now question: What could be a likely path for the fuel into the crank case???????
Any ideas??

I had the same problem with a 2 GM 20 this year one of the decompressor levers was seized and would not close properly so the fuel in that cylinder was unburned and ended up in the crankcase diluting the oil, we were also told to check the block mounted fuel lift pump as its diaphram can fail and leak fuel into the crankcase. best of luck.

Check the fuel lift pump as previously stated - This is the most likley and also the cheapest option. However as far as I am aware it is not repairable only replaceable
