Yanmar 3GM crankshaft V Belt Pulley

I need to replace the big crankshaft pulley on my 3GM, or machine the old one back to clean metal due corrosion.

Anyone know if this item is a standard part or are there many variations. Mine is flat faced heavy cast iron with a recess in the middle for the nut.

Where to go to get one?

Can V pulleys be successfully machined?

Who sells Mitsubishi M19 belts for the water pump, I can't find one anywhere!

IMHO Vee pulleys cant be repaired, but why bother ? After you run it for a while with the old belt then the Vee section will be nice and shiney, then fit a new belt.

Nah mate, int like that...

Pulley is rusted inside the vee and rust is very very hard, and had shredded two belts before I realised why.

New part is nigh on £100 plus tax plus P & P!!!!
