Yanmar 2GM20 Manual.

I've tried searching with no luck - can anyone help me with the basic engine sizes for the 2GM20.

I want to find out if I can fit the new 2YM20 or even the 3YM30 into the existing engine bay. Currently the engine is a 2GM20.

I have the outline sizes for the 3 series.

On ebay, they sell a CD with all GM series manuals on it. About a fiver normally, and comes up every few days or so.

I think the 3YM20 would be very little bigger than the 2GM20, virtually a straight swap,
although I have been warned some of the ancilliaries have changed sides, and the fresh water coling must add a bit to the dimensions.
The 3YM30 IS significantly bigger. Do you need that much more power (and expense and fuel consumption). In fact I understand the 3YM20 is slightly more powerful than the 2GM20. Read all the gossip on yanmarhelp.com
