im doing some work for someone to help pay for new engine mounts. after doing research i would really like the Poly Flex mounts. UK distributers Southern Cross Marine recomended Y#2.5CTF as a direct replacement.

Please could people confirm these will work?

thank you..
pics i took though difficult one handed and with the limited space.

my rubbish phone didnt get a good pic but im sure the hole to holes are about the same as the polyflex.

Just had a look at the ones I changed a couple of years ago and they look only a couple of mm different in hole centres and height so should fit, I used the R&D mounts

heres concerns from a friend im doing the work for whos buying the mounts.

"the minimum height that can be achieved with the mounts you are specifying is more than the height you need for you engine"

true?

Looking at you info it states 98mm max but not state minimum height. The originals look like standard Yanmar mounts which for mine were actually taller that the R&D mounts I used and the poly flex look very similar dimensions to the R&D mounts, from your photos the height seems to be just under 100mm. You want as little thread underneath as possible anyway so you would always pack up the foot if possible.
