Yanmar 1GM10 Service. Lost plastic pipe in sump.... what now?

The flexible grabber will be reminiscent to many here with Colonoscopy experience, I believe:rolleyes:.
The OP highlights an interesting point about engines though; my Ruggerini RM90 is fitted with an oil extractor pump, and I'd 'sort of' imagined that most of 'our' type of marine diesels would have it as standard, in particular the more popular and well known brands.
Which others have them as std?

I'm pretty sure that Beta and Nanni fit them. Lombardini might as well, but I can't remember for certain.

On the similar topic, what is diameter of 1GM10 dipstick? I got oil pump form screwfix and need to buy proper elastic pipe (the one with pump will be too short). I will make sure to secure it though. This is good topic for me not to do anything stupid during my first ever diesel service...
