Yanmar 1GM10 air filter

Can this filter be washed/cleaned or must it be replaced when due. Inspection of my filter element shows sponge a little dirty but otherwise intact and not showing signs of breakdown. Thanks

I wash mine with washing up liquid and warm water, dry then refit .
just make sure you trap the foam behind the gauze to prevent it from being sucked into the engine

yes - just wash it - i have a 1GM 10 and that's what the manual recommends
