yanmar 1gm anode

Can anyone advise on how to check the anode on a yanmar 1GM10?Are there any proper owner manuals available for this engine?

Remove anti corrosion zinc and check it is (a)still there, (b) got enough meat so not requiring replacement. If you are unsure it is probably prudent to replace on spec.

Hope this helps, image is scanned from Workshop manual, don't know how to get one as my Dad bought this one years ago. It is a loose leaf A4 binder, but I have seen paper back type versions about.
