I've seen numerous posts about this problem, seems to be a common issue. My engine usually runs ok, but occasionally stalls - but restarts (usually - or grab the oars)! I'm working my way through various checks, but just wondered about the fuel / oil mix of 100:1. I've had all sorts of 2-stroke engine of one kind or other - including the 10:1 Seagull! I'm just wondering if this rather oil economic mix rate might be causing partial seizure. Plug looks dry, but there is oil traces around the plug washer.
