Hi, I have an old yamaha 2a - the non recoil start version with the plastic lid over the flywheel. This was a rescue from scrap, now working ok - really great engine as it is so light. Unfortunately the flip top lid is missing - altho' I have now got two side cowling pieces that are ok. I was just wondering whether anyone else has one of these, and whether you would be prepared to cut out a cardboard template of the flip top lid from which I could fabricate a new part. It seems that this part is no longer available having phones a few dealers with old parts.
