Yamaha 2A 1977 onwards

I have been given a Yamaha 2A 2hp outboard that was seized and upon stripping it down I broke the water pump/inlet copper tube at the neck, I have never tried brazing and that is something I don't fancy doing so can anyone recommend where I might purchase a new tube?, I have looked on the net with the part no: 646-44361-00 from the parts list and still no joy, any advice please. That is an obsolete part number
It is superseded by 6A1-44361-00-00 -

Any half decent Yamaha spares agent should be able to get if for you, but quote the full engine particulars

Ouboards-direct ( aka Oakley Marine) in Brighton are Yamaha agents and good for parts :: OutBoards-Direct ::

Get a new waterpump impeller etc ( a pump overhaul kit if possible) and any otherparts you need at the same time. Theyhave to order stuff and may have to make up a minimum order value themselves.

You may be better trying to source a part on ebay...Its a common fault on these motors and possibly on an engine of that age not worth buying new parts

Thanks Steve66, your right the cheapest I found is £21 and I don't know if ther is delivery on that, I think I will put the parts I have on Ebay
