I have just bought the two input Yakker for use with Navionics Boating on a tablet.
The default settings do not work with Navionics, it comes set to use UDP mode port 2000.
It must be changes to TCP port 23 and submitted.
Also the NMEA ground will need to be connected to -12v supply rail.
I suppose the TCP port will guarantee a virus free signal.

When I fitter by single input yakker, I just fed in power and NMEA GPS from my Raymarine Plotter and it feeds a GPS signal to all my Apple products and works fine with the Navionics App. No need to charge any settings.

What you did was what I expected! The AIS signal I wanted came from a Standard Horizon GX2200E. The iphones and tablets all have built in GPS.
What I want to do now is feed in a depth reading from the Stowe Dataline system but I may be pushing my luck.
Nonetheless a great little device.
