I have enjoyed the articles in Classic Boat about Trevor Clifton and his trip to double Cape Horn and on to the Falklands.
I think that some smart supplier should sponsor him with a wind vane for the trip home as his autopilots seem to have been tempromental!
lastly I agree with Penny Howes email to Classic Boat that a yachtsmen like Trevor who went out and did it without the benefits of huge corporate sponsorship should be a strong contender for Yachtsman of the year.
