Yachts aground Colintraive

Must have just missed you Gordon. We had lunch anchored at the burnt isles and saw the lifeboat leave.

That's a shame, Iain. I spend the whole of the preceding week on board but abandoned plans to go down Kilbrannan Sound when I got the F8 forecast on the Monday.
I was on my own and the thought of beating back was a bit daunting.
With the exception of Wednesday and Thursday the weather was great for a bimble.
I will be staying on the mooring for a few weeks so may catch you yet.

What a day to run aground we were part of the 30 strong fleet ccc closing muster all witnessing the unfortunate scene , there must be plenty of photos :) , someone told us the tale in the tarbert hotel but it was a tad late ,as such i can shed no light on the matter , though there where scurilous rumours that quest 3 got into trouble s***** went to assist , but as the owner of q3 a tad corn beef , s***** had to go in closer to communicate , all scurilous conjecture and wicked yat humour

Luckily nice calm day ( not for us ) and hopefully little damage .
