This is a re-post of the thread on PBO as it got absolutely no response there..
I`m Always on the lookout for better and cheaper treatments of exterior wood (teak). Anybody tried this product?...or can direct me to a considered/comparitive review..My Google search didn`t turn up much in the way of results. Many Thanks

Doubt you will find anybody with any experience as it seems to be a new product and not available in the UK.

I am always wary of any wood protection product that claims to soak into the wood as my experience is that if they do that then they also evaporate quickly.

All the tests that have been carried out in the past (reported in magazines such as PBO and Classic Boat) have concluded that only two types of products are durable and that the most economic and easy to apply and maintain are porous woodstains such as made by Sikkens, Cetol, or directly for the marine market, International Woodskin. The downside of these products is that they do not produce a glossy finish like traditional varnish and some have a tint which can colour light woods. However, this is not normally an issue with teak, although you need to really clean teak of any other coatings before applying.
