I have a mounted half hull model of the above yacht given to me by someone in the family and while it is an interesting model I am sure it would be much more interesting to the present owner or someone with the same class. I am happy to donate it to an appropriate owner.

The plate on the model reads as follows:
TREBAH 1969
LOA 28'0", LWL 24'4", Beam 8'2", Draught 4'6", Displacement 8500 lbs, Working sail area 370 sq ft
Builder Klaus Baess, Designer Aage Utzon, Copenhagen

Interesting. Trebah is a property on the north shore of the Helford River famous for its sub-tropical gardens. Sounds like she is a one off. Try contacting the Royal Cornwall YC in Falmouth.

Trebah is not among the yachts listed as owned by a member of the RCYC. Sorry

Thanks Cornishman and to you to Bob-Tyler I have e-mailed the Trebah Gardens to see if there is any connection but not had a reply yet.

The family the model came from lived in Totness so there may be a connection. (I realise that Totness is in a different country!!)

Totnes, for some strange reason, has only one 's' and as you suggest is t'other side of the Tamar. Lived there for a while back in the '70s, and a pretty place it is too.
Might I suggest further lines of enquiry you could follow:
1. See if she has a Small Ships registration - SSR is at Swansea alongside the Vehicle Registration people.
2. Approach the builders to see who she might have been built for - that is if they still exist. Try Boating Business magazine for a contact.
3. Try the Royal Fowey YC and also the Gallants SC at Fowey
Good luck, and I will ask around the Duchy.

You can also do a search on this site:

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.itu.int/cgi-bin/htsh/mars/ship_search.sh#start>http://www.itu.int/cgi-bin/htsh/mars/ship_search.sh#start</A>

which accesses the radio licence database. I wouldn't bother though..."Trebah" is not listed. I suppose that makes this message one of the most unhelpful on this forum for sometime!
