Yacht swapping

Instead of a long Osage what about swapping your yacht for a few months to say a yacht in Canada or the States or new Zeland……works for house swapping

A forumite lent his boat on the Clyde for a week. Same model as my boat. Water was a bit too deep for us Essex types.

Good idea, I’m going to PM JFM right now to see if he’d like to swap his San Lotenzo thing with my Dufour 2700 for a couple of weeks this summer. I’ll need to check my fuel tank is full and assume he’s a gentleman so will reciprocate.

I don't like others using my personal stuff and a yacht is about as personal as it gets so no way would I exchange, the same applies to houses and flats. We rent an apartment out, the only way I could do it was on the basis that we would never live in it and most probably never see it again.

Their sizeable (numerically and physically) collection of er, apparatus, was left. Though of course they may have taken some portable equipment with them
