Yacht surveyor recommendation please (Kent)

I've agreed with my insurers to get a new survey of my yacht. Can anyone recommend a good surveyor in the Kent area, with experience of steel yachts?

You could try David Sutton BSC C Eng MRINA MIMarE who works from Kent. He is a consultant Naval Architect and Marine Surveyor. He did my valuation survey for me,and this was fine. However I have no experience of a purchase survey from him, but his thoroughness on the valuation survey is a good indicator.

R D Johnston did my survey - absolutely brilliant - definitely not the usual half a dozen pages of type but a proper comprehensive survey report after a 10 hour inspection of the boat. Found him on the directory on this site. Would thoroughly recommend.
