My yacht is still under construction and therefore I am very conscious of the cost of signage. To avoid those costs I bought adhesive backed vinyl (gloss A4) and downloaded appropriate signage (with copyright approval of course) off the internet. I then printed the signs using my inkjet printer but as the ink is water soluble I sprayed the signs with a pressure pack of clear lacquer.

We've used normal printer paper and then laminated them.

And in Greece you can buy this sticker for a few ten cent:

A friend of ours used to run a company making signs. He was not impressed when he came aboard and saw that I had put up some signs in Dymo.
