Life has taken a few "interesting" turns recently, and I'm going to be mainly living in Chamonix for the next few years.
My yacht, a Beneteau First 325, is not going to get much use by me.
I'm loath to sell her as I have carefully maintained her and spent far more over the past 5 years than she is worth if I were to sell her, and also I don't really want to give up my marina berth and swinging mooring.
So thoughts turn to maybe sharing her with someone, either as an outright partial sale and proportionate share of running and maintenance costs, or just a half share of the annual costs.
Obvs a sale of a share is fairly straightforward, but has anyone any experience of retaining ownership and sharing just the running and maintenance costs?
