Ive found an interesting boat for sale in Southamton but it need some work. Its a 40 feet cruise racer.
I try to find guys who can do a inside and deck wash, gelcoat polished, and the engine serviced.
The engine is a Volvo MD2040 from 2003.
The engine has 50 hours of running and is not started since 2007. It was just run for a few hours in 2007 and before that the last time it was used was back in 2003.
I am sure the engine need some care the first time its started and it should be serviced before that I think?
I might be interested in filling a bit more lead in the keel as well. The boat has the old IMS standard with wood or plastic in the lower part of the fin keel.
As a student, the prices are of interest.
