Yacht road haulage recommendations, SW Scotland

My boat is in Kent, but I am going to take her by road to Largs in May. The boat is a long keeled wooden sloop, 34 feet LOA, weighs about 6 tons. I have some quotes from local road transport suppliers, but it occurred to me I could see if anyone at the other end is interested/capable/competitive.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

For that sort of distance you want to ask for a 'back load' as it will be cheaper
This is where say a SW Scotland or NW England area boat transporter is delivering a boat south in your boats area but unless booked they will return empty,

I have done this on a number of occasions and I saved quite a lot, downside is you may have to wait till a date comes up (usually say 4 weeks) but if you are not in a hurry its much cheaper
You also have to be prepared to organise things at short notice but all well worthwhile.
