Is this a viable solution for an under used boat in the Adriatic/Ionion (though maybe move on to Turkey later)? It's quite new, 43ft 3 double cabins 2 heads, full electronics, radar etc etc so could only really share with experienced people. does it work?

Many, many boats are shared in the Med for the reasons you state. The RYA publishes a leaflet on the principles of shared ownership with gudance on the sort of agreements that can work. The problem is always finding compatible partners. Suggest you talk to Chris Hawes www.yachtfractions.co.uk as his business is putting together shared ownership deals.

Hi, I will retire next year and may consider a yacht share somewhere warm.I feel sure that with the right research and some vetting you will be able to arrange a suitable deal with one or more parties.I have five years experience of a yacht share in the UK. If you would like to hear some detail feel free to PM me. Good luck.
