This looks interesting, I've always put off a battery monitor as I didn't want another screen to put on the boat but I'm always curious to how much juice is being used. I like that I can use my I70 to display voltage/draw. I found another pic showing the shunt is wired into the positive side of the system, I always thought it should be negative? Looks like you have to source your own shunt as well, I guessing a 50 or 100amp shunt would be suitable for the "house" loads but are there better quality ones or specific ones I would need?
Thoughts/ alternatives?
