OK I've charted a couple of yachts some time ago from Guvia. Odisius I think they were called. Cant find there web site. Or are there any other recomends. What about Croasia?? Is it still OK if you say Yes blaa blaa, loads of experience, or do they want bits of paper these days??

Their old Transit van is rusting in the marina car park. Someone ought to move it.

PM me and I'll give you some info.

Have chartered in Greece for the last 2 yrs and in the Med for a further 2 - used Nautilus on each occasion and found them to be fine. They are of course only agents and the company who owned the boats was Kiriacoulis.
I'd personally recommend chartering from Rhodes or Kos as you've got both some lovely islands to go to and the option of visiting Turkey. You've also got a lot of charter flights.
This year we're collecting the boat on the mainland E. of Athens and are going to "do" some of the Cyclades. Advantage of flying to Athens is very cheap flights that are daily so you can go for as long as you want rather than being tied to weekly charter flights.
Don't know anything about Croatia but can highly recommend chartering either in Tuscany or on Elba itself and exploring Elba and N.Corsica from there. Nice places to visit PLUS super food. Daily flights to Pisa, possibly even from Oop North.
