Yacht charter Caribbean

We chartered in Guadaloupe a couple of years ago after selecting the boat very carefully.
When we arrived after a traumatic flight (I hate CdG airport), we found we had been "upgraded".
The boat we requested was not luxurious but had a proper chart table, adequate accommodation and good looks.

That we were upgraded to had no chart table, primitive nav equipment and two wheels. Grrrr.

After complaining, we were given the boat we had asked for but lost a day in the process.

Is it possible to charter a small, non-exotic yacht anywhere? |Anituga is favourite.

There used to be a large choice of Yacht Charters in St Maarten but as our interest was diving we never kept much of an eye on chartering since Hurricane Irma passed through the island.
