We are going to Alicante from 13th to 20th September staying in a hotel next to the marina. We would like to charter a yacht for a few days, either consecutive so we could stay out overnight, or separate days, where we have it from the morning to the evening.
I have the RYA Yachtmaster qualification, owned a Moody 44 from 2006 to 2010, and sailed it from UK to Malta and back during that time.
We should have a car so could travel to say, Altea in the North, and Torrevieja in the South.
Budget for sailing during the week is around £1000 to £1500. SWMBO would prefer bareboat, but I like the idea of skippered, as they know where to go for the best bang for buck.
I know someone here had a charter yacht in Denia, but I recall that they gave it up several years ago
