Yacht \'car wash\'

Does anyone know if the 'drive-in' yacht scrub that I thought was installed near Hasslar is still in business. I thought it opened about a year ago... It had some sort of submersed rotating brushes and the yacht is passed through by being tied to a moving trolley (or something). I never saw it but it was'nt that expensive and the reports seemed to be good...

thanks

Yes i've used one @ Port Solent. Really impressed!! I think they have 5 of 6 machines around the area.

If you have a paddle wheel log do you have to withdraw it first? Some can pull up inside the tube without breaking the seal.

We used the scrubber at Port Solent last year and there was no problem with the log. They tell you it is your choice as to whether it stays down.

the brushes are actually very soft. If you ask they will raise them so that you can put your hand on while they are rotating. No problem at all!

Can you do a "one-off" or do you have to have a longterm contract? Once in the season would be anough for me.
