Just missed you at the weekend, Adam. We were at Castlebeach when we saw you heading back up river from Dale. Saw Nick on the pontoon and got all the info on his problems.....

i be gowing to angel regater this week end on the satday as ther things gowing on , nick boat is save now ,of it sank with a honda 225hp on back , its back in yard now ,engine is terning over , just need to parts and shood be back up and runing soon

Well we missed the storm as we were in Ireland for a few days, but the Grumpster took a hit. She lost her rudder!...all I can imagine is a rough in-coming tide and she must of been bucking about a bit and the stern came down heavy? It lifted the rudder off her pins and sheared the steering mounting assembly.
Buggered up my week at Dale, but hey-ho, the weather was pants anyways and a whole new, toughened steering mount is about to be fixed back on.
A big thanks to a chap called Stuart, a sailor there who helped me find the rudder on the low water springs last Friday!
