Mike Richey, who lives nearby has a small open boat, clinker built of mahogony on oak frames.
Built in Helford River 1926. Length 16ft, beam 5ft 4ins. Iron plate drop keel. Gunter rig, mast and boom pine, yard bamboo. Fine example of wooden boat building.
Mike no longer uses the boat enough to justify keeping her. She can be viewed on the eastern pontoon at Brighton marina.
Could anyone interested in taking her over for a sum to be agreed, or who could make helpful suggestions, please PM me.
