I am exhausted after a whole hour shopping - working through the list the of websites she gave me. So far, I have only bought one bottle of smelly lotion stuff.

Jemmie reckons he is buying his SWMBO a pair of spray dodgers, so I am thinking about ordering mine an AIS engine - I am sure she will be very happy even though she has no idea what it is.

Any other boaty presents suitable for the 'other half' ?

A shackle or two of 3/4" galvanised anchor chain is always a welcome gift. As long as it is accompanied by something with the word "diamond" or "Chanel" in its description.

I bought mine a gerber safety knife for her birthday. She loves it, though she is a very keen sailing partner. Have also bought her a pair of duberrys which went down well too.

Others include gloves and a woolly hat, good grief man, it is not that difficult! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Dubarry boots. She'll never whinge about cold feet ever again. The all leather ones look good to. Well, that's what my SWMBO thinks.

Personally, I think my pair make me look a bit like the Principle Boy in a panto.

I have been told in no uncertain terms that, given the amount I (note me, not us!) have spent on buying and equiping our boat this year, any gift even remotely linked to sailing will not be tolerated!!

Now, where is that Musto catalogue? Maybe I could stitch on a Mulberry badge, I'm sure she'll never notice... mmmm... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: \"You\" spent how much on boat bits?....

...yeah, I'm with you on that Mark. Definitely a non-boaty pressie list for Mrs Beancounter.
Mind you, her birthday is in February, so I might treat her to a danbouy from the boat show...
I'm sure she'll be over the moon... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Couple of Xmas' ago we needed a new engine for the boat.

Wife got the engine for her xmas, the girls fought over who was getting the prop shaft and who was getting the prop!

Me? I got to instal it....

Oh happy days.

This year?
Me - Auto helm
Sheena - ST60 wind/depth/speed.

Girls? Hope they will be happy with a new cd/mp3/Tuner.......

Ok they may get some smelly stuff too......
