xm2000 vhf lost its voice

my xm2000 vhf radio went silent, traced problem to speaker ( open circuit).
Where can I buy this component by mail order, Maplin has nothing small enough,
Radionics e-shop site does not seem to work, its a joke
Speaker is 8 ohm, .5 watt , mylar, 35mm diameter by 9mm height

why not just fit an external speaker.

I found a place KensElectronics in the USA that sells speakers - 35mm - but says to contact Uniden for that size.
