Medway Swan Upping cruise next week and Admirals Cruise a week or two later followed by a nice week on the Thames and it has stopped raining,my domestics do not seem to be lasting as long as they should AND have bought some new fenders...
Ooops....am I on the right forum ? :)

i fear there may no longer be any "right" place to be. We can certainly forget any possibility of EU money helping to solve the Thames funding issues.

You sure ?, DEFRA will not know what to do with all the barrow loads of cash allocated to them by the new regime, surely the EA will be first on the list of most deserving cases for the new found largesse.
Blimming heck, perhaps some nice new locks complete with 24 hour lockies.
Just off to find some rope for my new fenders, got to look my best when we visit.
Are you supposed to remove the plastic protective bags ?.
Recently installed a battery monitor system, rather worrying 3A drain when everything is switched off.
Suspect is going to need calibrating. ?
Might actually read instructions. :)

most curious.
checked all the electrical switching gear today, no rush, only had the boat 5 years.
One of the switches was on "emergency."
When switched off one engine refused to start.
connected multimeter ,attempted to crank engine and volts just dropped away to between 6-7 V.
Methinks have a knackered starter battery. :(

I'd hazard a guess the emergency switch has energised a bloody big contactor linking the two battery banks. 3A would be a reasonable draw for a big contactor coil.....
