X-Channel vis. sites?

I've got general weather and wind websites coming out of my ears... but can anyone recommend a decent source of forecast visibility data... Solent-Cherbourg tomorrow night /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I think the vis will be more of an issue than wind strength somehow.

nothing specific for the line between solent and cherb..... but you can get data from channel light and greenwich lightship Here I only use this site for vis and wave height in the channel.

Waiting to leave Portsmouth for Treguier (perhaps via Guernsey) but even with radar on board not keen on the ongoing fog warnings.

Even though Mrs Bav is ace at CPA's, EBL's and VRM's it's still unnecessary stress.

Currently 2 miles viz. at Channel Light Vessel .... that's manageable, but Sevenstones is 0.0

Hmmm ... thinks we'll wait 'till Friday
