Well as somebody who is about to be the owner of a Fairline with a midnight blue hull, I can appreciate even after polishing etc how hard it is to get the blemishes out.

Well a couple of boats away I saw a Squadron having a blue hull wrapped, I must say I was most impressed with the finish, its going to take a small team a couple of days to complete so I'm sure I will need to save up to have it done, but a real option for me in the future.

PS also good to meet JtB at the yard, who bathing platform is coming on well.

Nice to meet you too, sorry it was so brief, tricky day on the project today - couple of bumps in the road that I wasn't expecting.

Grapefruit were doing a great job on that Squadron. I particularly liked their scaffold arrangements. :D

And finally - congrats on the new boat!

Ours is wrapped.

Before I saw it the wrap was damaged by lifting. Just lifted this week. More damage.

Yoga mats are the recommended padding. The loft in went ok.

It looks lovely but it is relatively fragile.

For the med where stern to mooring means that not much tpuches the boat it is ok. If you get ropes on it the wrap wil tear.

Take care !
