15.0m x 5.0m Berth lease for sale at 300,000 euros on quai 1 with parking. 13 years to run on the Lease with an annual charge of 3,500 euros

Is my understanding correct that when the lease runs out you are left with nothing at all?

Lookiing for big fat cats..with lots of dosh..It's a rip off.

Peter

But I can't see big fat cats having just a tiny 15mx5m boat.

Or did you mean a catamaran? :)
Which is likely to be more than 5m wide. Specially if it is a fat one:D

I can't see that anyone who has a boat which is a normal size like that, is going to be paying out 300K, which is probably more than the boat cost new for the privelege of paying another 3500 euros a year "maintenance" or whatever that is.

Or are they?

Any of the usual AWB's you can buy down here with the possibility of taking over the rent of a mooring. Where I am 15M is about 3000 euros/year (including leccy and water).

I think they still have some space free as well.

Apart from Monaco, Aunty Bess is about the most expensive parking lot. But anywhere on the Cote d'Azur is mega expensive, with beam being critical coz everybody but Abramovich and his buddies parks end-on. And they all seem to be very short lease. And there are annual service charges as well.

There are a few municipal marinae, but you have to sleep with the mayor to get a place in those.

Only €3k a year? Where exactly in the South of France are you as I am looking to move from Palma. I pay considerably more than 3k a year here

15m is the tender dear boy; the yacht is out in the bay. :)
