This is how they sell ice creams in SoF. This was taken in Villefranche at the weekend. She has a horn for attracting attention.

You think that's a little funky? When we were in Halong Bay (Vietnam) the ladies spent the whole day AND night rowing about in little home-made boats.

I'll try to source a pic in the morning.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy.............all this and you are considering a move back to Brighton and Mr Whippy vans?

:p

That's rarther conservative,by SoF standards she has a top on
Over at Cap Lardier ( west of Pampelonne St Tropez)
They are topless , yup no kidding ,the skipper is a " bird" too both topless and brown all over I happened to some how notice while slowly counting out my loose change - , and not hairy ( sorry too much information )
My teenage son / crew cost me a fortune one day
Lost count how many "glacé" , I have to admit WE had

Problem is there is nowhere to go for a cold shower chaps as the water is warm !
For some reason that escapes me wife does not want to go back!

These ladies would row around all day and all night trying to sell stuff. No engines, no PFD's, no H&S (What's that?!) - They would retire at about 4-5am and get some sleep, to be up for the morning to sell again.

They lived on floating villages - shacks just floating in the middle of bays. The men would fish to live and the ladies would sell items from the 'shop' - we don't realise how well we have it over here
