According to the police, during the recent break-ins on the R Frome at Wareham a guy was asleep in his boat. He didn't wake up when the thieves called, even when his boat alarm went off!

I have my suspicions about this report as I deactivate my alarm when on board. If you have an alarm, do you set it at night?

I definitely deactivate it at night. I would be sure to wake up if there was the slightest movement.

How on earth would he get on at anchor?
