Would wrapping a boat devalue it or make it harder to sell?

We have a targa 47, and the blue gelcoat is OK but looking tired now. Were undecided if were going to keep it another couple of seasons or trade up. If we keep it I'm thinking of wrapping it in a nice metallic bright or lighter blue. same as the Targa 53 launch boat.
Is this likely to devalue the boat or make it harder to sell in the future as everybody expects a boring dark blue hull?

Personally I don't see a reason for not wrapping it my advice would be to follow the original colour or another colour that the targa 47 used. Otherwise to the cognoscenti it would look wrong.

Do it. Any boat that looks bright, fresh and well kept upon selling is a big bonus and will make it easier to sell, whatever the colour. Although Barbie pink might be an issue.
