Would this be worth a punt?

Got this on an email flyer on Friday when current bid was £7,000. Now upt to £17,100. Doing a Google search show similar boats at mid £30's. If I'd had more time to go and see it, I'd have been tempted to bid, but what's the collective view? Worth a bid at say low £20's?

£4k buyers Premium at the current bid. Nothing in it for you, given the hassle,

I didn't bid, was out watching Spectre, but can't see what it went for. As others have said the auctioneers certainly want their cut.

Buyers premium for items over £10,001 is 10% + vat.

It also says VAT payable on all lots unless specifically shown in lot description, not sure but the "NO VAT" on the lot description could mean it is not chargeable but does that mean it is paid. If there is no proof you are going to have to pay it anyway.

I think that the vat is probably only charged on the buyers premium.

No idea really on the price but the boat next to mine a few years back when I was at Chichester was one of these. It looked good, was well used and the people who owned it got a lot of pleasure out of it
