Nice to see theres still some justice in the world. The good news. All the 1000 club members Burgees have gone out today. Well thats except Colin Scott cos well he's not at home for three weeks anyway. The bad news. All the skin flints and newbie flags arnt done till tomorrow. The good and bad news is. I've got spare 1000 club burgees!! Aint life a bitch.

Burgees are normally £12 but I dont know about postage to Canada or exchange rate.

Can some one help. Can I stick a Canadian dollar cheque in the bank. What would cover post and exchange rate.

How can you have some of the 1,000 poster ones left over? I reckon there can only be half a dozen 1,000 oposters here abouts. You, Colin Scott, Byron, tcm, Longjohn, BarryD, jfm and Pauline and that's about it isn't it? So how come you over-ordered? And how many by for heavens sake? Bit difficult counting to eight is it?

Oh and I'm on 948 or 9 including this one, so will I have to re-order in 50 posts time or do you automatically send me the new burgee FOC?

See your up the wrong flag pole again Colin. Nope I've flogged 13 1000 flags so far. Upps! that sounds wrong some how! But some not stingy gets, and need spares and for friends and other boat and. I dont know. Its not the bloody inquasition (As in Aquaholic). Colin yerl just have to buy another one when you grow up and get to 1000. Must admit they look very splendid with the 1000 done in very thick stiching. Pity you cant have one yet. You'd better hurry before the price goes up.

Greetings, Hadyn...let's see, 12 GBP's = US$17.17 and Cdn$27.40...ouch! Our pathetic Canadian dollar really is a disgrace...unless, of course, you or a Yank want to buy something or holiday here. Wots all this then. Do you mean to say that there are people out there ordering the burgees with the 1000 motif and they have not yet reached that number of posts?

This is a disgrace and burgees with the hallowed 1000 should only be supplied to those amongst us worthy. And No, this does not include me.

I could be sitting in a Marina paying due homage to the seniority of a nehbour sporting the yellow 1000 burgee, taking in lines, giving his boat a quick wash off so as he can go directly to the pub etc etc etc when all the time he might be a one post lurker.

Come to think of it I had better check how many posts I have made!

aha. I may pm you for one of these BUT.

I think that everyone should wear std burge from mid/fwd trees but since 1000 flag is one of seniority and it shoud also tbe flwon sperately, although never senior to a coutersy flag and always at port side. I making all this up off the top of my head, but it sounds totally true doesn't it?
