Wot Apps for SWIMBOS new Hudl 2

Got a Hudle2 for my dearest which she likes and I have to say for a cheap end tablet it is really good. Assumingthat I can borrow it then what Nav, weather or other boaty apps should I look at?

I have ipad and Hudl2. I have Navionics HD, mx mariner (android only) and memory map.

If you don't mind Raster charts then mx mariner is a bargain. I've not tried Memory map on the Hudl yet.
Navionics is ok on the Hudl but better on the iPad.

I've got navionics and pocket grib, both of which are very useful on my hudl 2. I've also got BBC weather app for general forecasts, Boatie, compass and various others which I tend not to use. Charts, tides and weather are the main areas to cover and there's plenty of choice. More with Android than Apple nowadays. (Arguably)

 

[Storyline]

Meteoearth produce a gorgeous looking (and functional) weather app but it is not free.

I think your just embarrassed you can't afford an applepad!

You're right. I can't justify £400+ for an iPad with GPS when I can have a basic Hudl 2 for £129 with GPS.
