If like me yuo only have an engine temp alarm then as the title says, this has to be the worlds cheapest and easiest to fit engine temperature guage.

Here

Simply tape the sender onto the engine (mine is near the thermostat housing) and hey presto you have a digital temp guage.

In fact they were so cheap I now have a exhaust temp guage, hot water temp guage and most importantly a beer fridge temp guage :)

I have them, on fridge and water temp but have now swapped to the 5 quid one that I can adjust the fridge temperature with.

For those who have ordered a few, might be interesting to attach them all to the same hotspot, and see what range of readings you get. Good way of judging how accurate (or maybe consistent) they are.

I did that with my 3, all within 1 degree of each other.....

Just couldn't get the website to work - put stuff in the basket, but nothing appeared, the after lots of trying 12 items, no idea how many of what. So I then click the basket - says nothing in basket.

Tried the contact us - that doesn't work either,

Hope the website isn't an indication of what they are selling

I bought three stirring thermometers, each appeared to give a different reading when placed in a glass of warm water. So I numbered them and took multiple readings. They were so accurate that they were showing the temperature gradient of the water.

I have a few linked to an arduino as a fridge thermostat, but if so cheaper one from the OP than as a component ...

Same happened to me but once you register on the site it becomes functional. I did speak to someone but his English was atrocious and I gave up on the phone. It'll be interesting to see if the five I ordered turn up!

Wouldn't worry about it too much, you can get the same items off ebay for near enough the same price.

Just ordered some . A bit of a round about route to register if you've not already done so but otherwise it all seems to have gone through with a confirmation email back from Pay Pal at least

Hi Vic

My 5 arrived in the post this morning - 24 hours after I ordered them! Amazing service at any price.

I just put all five on the coffee table in front of me next to each other and left them for 30 minutes. 2 read 24.5 and 3 read 24.6 degrees C.

An old alcohol thermometer next to them read a degree higher. I would be inclined to accept the digital readings but, either way, they seem very good value.

The only disadvantage is that you have to remove a battery if you want to turn them off but that's not the end of the world.

+1
So looked on eBay you can buy the same item for £1.98 each free delivery from UK
Not sure how much delivery is on the original item as I couldn't get that far

That maybe because on their website, the "add" button has to be present at the product to get it in the basket. You'll notice that they list many lines, but don't have that many available to buy. Its a way of looking like you have a massive stock, when you havn't! They also add on processing fees too - not much, but it all adds on.

Still, I ordered a few bits just to see what the quality is like.
