Workshop labour charges at Fox\'s

I went into Fox's during the week to discuss some jobs needed on my mast (new gooseneck, winch moved etc). Very helpful, quoted me prices for the bits and said they'd do it all in a morning so that would be £140 for 4 hours labour. £35 an hour - I thought that was very fair - any negative experiences out there?

Sounds fair enough, but does it include VAT?

The quality of the work was excellent, but it did take for ever to get the boat back (10 months as opposed to the promised 3 weeks), due to window issues and getting the insurers to cough up

T-boned by a West Solent... Owner was completely honourable though and tracked us down.

The West Solent smudged the paint on it's stem post.

PS... Re reading the original request, I got our rigging done when Gladys was there and they were the cheapest quote of 3 by 20%
