Been working on the heads today. The sink that came with the boat was cracked and not that suitable as it had no tap mount. It didn;t have a tap originally so not sure how you were supposed to use the sink. So I rebuilt the sliding frame and sourced a new stainless steel sink. An extra large dog bowl!!! Once the frame is trimmed & finished should look OK.

The stainless 'sink' was an expensive £3.99 from the range, probably £30 in a motorhome shop with a hole in the middle and a £2.99 strainer fitting lol

So, how/where do you drain the water (assuming you'll cut a hole in the bowl)?
Does the sink slide far enough back to allow the loo lid to remain open?

Yes I fitted a drain to the bottom with 90deg outlet. This along with the galley sink drains to a diaphragm pump. The loo lid is fully upright when the tray is slid back so yes it's ok to use.

Lol, too be honest I couldnt find a commercial one that would fit, they were all a couple of cms too deep. The new chem toilet is slightly higher than the pump out heads.

Almost finished, just plumbing and wiring to complete plus a pair of sliding dark perspex sliding doors for cupboard. I'm happy enough with it.

Great idea, looks good.
I'm thinking of using a stainless bain-marie pan from a commercial kitchen as a replacement galley sink, as I would prefer something that wasn't circular.

Yep, that would work well too. It's easier too find one that fits the purpose too than looking for a motorhome sink.

Very strong, its 18mm ply with braces all round. It was already their. I painted it with bilge paint and covered with lino.

Their is another floor section that folds out at the bottom thats shaped at the end to fit the floor section that goes to the forward cabin. The toilet is a bit high without it. Its been done like that to create floor space due to the front curve of the hull. It works ok as you still have headroom while on the loo.
