Sorted out my 'do I need Radar' problem by buying a bargain new scanner. £360 for a 2kw 18" Raymarine jobbie courtesey of Sailroom.

Nice one Stingo!!!! All I need now is a new plotter to go with it, just hope SWMBO doesn't find out!!!

Its a great site, isn't it(cause its all boaty), i've bought a couple of items there so far, I am trying to do my bit for Stingo and will tell as many people as i can about it, the more to hear, the more bargains to be had.
I think a while ago Trevera25 said he had a fair bit of gear to be sold on there, so it is worth keeping an eye on site in case any more plotters come up, what am i saying, i need a plotter too, so don't bid on any, its mine!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
The VHF and chartplotter he sold recently seemed to sell for a very good price, keep your eyes peeled.

Yes, i've been trying since sunday to get in, and keep getting site down.

I'm told that its rapid success, means that he has had to change servers or something, I'm sure when it comes back up it will be just as good, if not better!
