My internal woodwork is still in pretty good condition, what would be the recommended polish to bring back the deep shine it used to carry ?

I bought an ex Sailing Holidays charter yacht. With it came the book of instructions for the customers. Under "final clean" it says "Polish the woodwork. Please use window cleaner provided for this".

(Under Windows & Hatches it says "Windows and hatches need to be wiped with soapy water. Please do not use window cleaner for this as the alcohol damages the perspex.")

The woodwork looks excellent despite its age so I guess it works!

I'm a great fan of citrus oil polish. Currently we have Parker & Bailey lemon oil polish which came from Lakeland. The first time I cleaned the interior woodwork of my Sadler 29 a good deal of grime came off on the cloth but now an annual wipe around, which takes about an hour, removes very little dirt but leaves a lovely sheen. Can't remember the cost, maybe £6, but a 1 pint bottle [it's American] lasts years including doing our furniture at home. Well worth a try.

Parsifal's mixture is OK for overcoating with varnish etc. It's got the solvents in it to clean off muck and surface contamination (well, some of it)

We use Non Silicone WOOD SILK on wood in Hallberg ( and on teak furniture in the house )
Only available in UK and Ireland.
