Wooden boat surveyor near Preston?

Not for me, for a friend.

Heavy, fishing-boat type wooden hull, with old Gardner engine.

Anyone know a surveyor locally who specialises in that kind of thing?

I think I know the boat you're referring to. I know not of its seaworthiness, but if it checks out by a pro, then that's a proper bargain. Lovely thing that puts similar boats to shame.

You may well know the boat, I believe it's been there a while. Don't suppose you've any other comments to add? (by PM if necessary )

John's website says he's going to be surveying in Greece for a while now. Also seems fair to say he's not a wooden boat specialist. I'll definitely pass his details on, but if anyone else has other leads I'd be glad to hear them.
