Hello all, newbie to the forum and first post.
I am considering the purchase of an old Hillyard nine ton, still afloat and hasnt been out for nine years, while no duckegg I am also not highly experienced in wooden hulls. Is this a no no or is there a glimmer of hope that I will escape a kings ransome repairing her. I know its a punt [no pun intended] buying a wooden boat but any constructive advice would be welcomed.
