Well, my partner has dropped something of a spanner in the works and we now won't be coming to Woodbridge until Sunday, although I have got my own back a little by insisting we take the 0830 train which will get us in just after ten. Who will still be around?

I'll be there until the tide is away, but more likely not in the Tide Mill, as I'm doing the organisers a favour and don'ty fancy being rooked for it. I would have thought the Tide Mill Yacht Harbour could have entered into the spirit of the thing, but it seems they are only interested in the Romford Navy.

This Romford Navy of which you speak is not in Her Majesty's service, does that mean we can take up arms against them?

I'll come and find you in the ferry dock on arrival, will Dave's Cafe be open for a brew, do you think?

It is rather a shame that the Tide Mill isn't getting into the spirit of it, perhaps the organisers should have tried to arrange a special deal. That said, you'll probably get more trippers at the Ferry Dock.

I hope things are still going strong on Sunday, I don't want to miss the Woodbridge Military Reenactment Society's demonstration of American GIs suborning local girls with nylon stockings.

Thanks....

Even worse, its two Saturdays in a row....

I might have got away with it, and perhaps come across on my own, but i'm away to Cherbourg the following weekend for 5 days, and... well you know.... you can only push your luck so far... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Managed to catch the last few minutes of Morzen's band, great stuff, and had a quick word afterwards.
Clambered over Marie to get a look at Mirelle, beautiful boat but left all alone.....

The wedding we went down for got in the way of the boats, damn shame. Must do better next year.
